Inset: TaqMan^® assays were designed, two internal to the amplified region and one to each side, with the approximate coordinates indicated on the X-axis. These assays were run in triplicate on genomic DNA from each of the two strains, and relative fold-change of La Paz versus CO92 was calculated and normalized to the assay at coordinate 4,560,000.
